How many people go on each tour?
We normally operate small groups that go from 4 to 18 pax.
What should I bring?
Each tour may have different requirements depending on the region and season.
Please bring a camera, hiking shoes and a change of cloth is very common.
Can I pay cash for the tour?
You can pay USD cash or the local currency.
Do you accept credit cards?
Credit card payments must be approved by the reservation department through PayPal.
Do you offer half day tours?
Sunset sail cruises, Palo Verde Bird watching and canopy tours along the coast are considered half day tours.
Do I need to book in advance?
We suggest prebooking in high season from December to April 15th. In the green season, there is more tour guide availability.
Are tips included in the price?
Tips are not included and are subject to your discretion.
What does my trip include?
Tours normally include ground transportation from your accommodation and a bilingual guide.
Other things included are the entrance fees to the theme and national parks, adventure outfitters, lunch, water and sometimes fruits.
What time do I get back to the resort?
On half day tours, you may come back at 13.00 or 17.30 during afternoon trips.
On full days it depends on where we pick you up and where the tour takes place but it may be between 17.00 to 19.00 hours.
What is the weather like in Guanacaste?
Guanacaste is the most popular region in Costa Rica due to fantastic weather patterns year around. Temperatures may go from 32 to 36 Celsius.
Can I have a private tour?
Private tour can be arranged according to your needs, fewer clients may increase the cost per person though.
Are the vehicles air-conditioned?
All minibusses are fairly new and have air-conditioning inside to make every tour comfortable.
Therefore you will travel in comfort from the moment we pick you up until you come back to the resort.
Are your vehicles insured and authorized by the local government?
All vehicles used are insured and authorized by ICT and CTP authorities.
Who are your tour guides?
We use experienced tour guides on every activity who know well how to operate the tours.
Therefore they have culture, nature knowledge and take care of customers from start to finish.
Are there any age restrictions?
Age restrictions may apply to activities that required to be in good physical conditions. For instance, going to waterfalls with difficult access, zip lining or long hikes in national parks.
